I had the opportunity to work with two other Loan Originators other than Sydney Lewis, which put me in an ideal position to provide an honest and complete analytical comparison of Sydney Lewis VS. other Loan Originators. Below is my assessment:

(1) I started my home purchasing journey with a major, commercial lender, who struggled and could not fully comprehend how to structure my financial situation so that I could get qualified for a mortgage—a very good friend of mine then referred me to Sydney Lewis.

(2) I began working with Sydney Lewis and was qualified for a mortgage, received my commitment subject for an appraisal; however, the appraiser missed a bedroom in the property that I was purchasing and as a result the appraised value of the property was undervalued and the appraiser, in an attempt to protect his reputation, refused to correct his report. Given the prevailing situation, I met with my family and we decided to move on to another lender.

(3) When I notified Sydney Lewis of the decision to move on to another lender, to my surprise, Sydney Lewis fully cooperated and turned over my completed file to the new lender.

(4) The new lender, just like the first lender, was having problems structuring my loan, so I reached out to Sydney Lewis for assistance, and again to my surprise, without hesitation Sydney Lewis provided me with insights, which I took to the new lender who appeared confused, but eventually applied the information, and I was able to close.

(5) Sydney Lewis structured my file and I was able to receive a Commitment within two weeks with the only condition of “subject to property appraisal for purchasing price.” The first Loan Originator could not properly structure my file, the other Loan Originator took three months to get me to the closing table, despite being with proper information I obtained from Sydney Lewis that he was either finding too complex to comprehend or he was being stubborn—when he came around and implementing what was given to him by me, I obtained my commitment and the file closed.

As you can see from my previous analysis, it is clear that Sydney Lewis possesses a wealth of knowledge, provides timely and prudent information to his clients for decision making, but more importantly, he is an extremely ethical person.

For the above reasons, I will not hesitate to recommend Sydney Lewis to you, my friends and family, as well as my professional peers.
